David Copperfield

David Copperfield (1850) by Charles Dickens (1812-1870) follows the story of a boy named David who is mistreated by his step-father and is sent to boarding school. The story continues to follow David to adulthood. The story was also considered more of an autobiographical account of the author's own life from childhood to adulthood.
